Hubs and I have decided to move towards all natural items in our house. This meant that it was time to trade in my Perfect Bath Mat for a cotton version. While I wasn't ready to knit another one with cotton yarn, I was ready to reuse my Bernat Blanket Ombre yarn. 😉😁 So, I tossed it in the wash where it went from this:
in the span of an hour or so!
I loved my first 快適 千喜 (Kaiteki Chiki) so much that I wondered what it would look like if I used bulky yarn so I decided to repurpose my yarn for another Emotional Yarn Chicken.

On Day 1, I finished the first wing and here's what it looks like:
It's a very B-I-G tail wing!😳🤭
On Day 2, I finished the second wing, the body and the bottom right breast:

On Day 3, I finished the remainder of the breast, neck, head, beak, crown, bottom and seamed in the crown & bottom:
On Day 4, I added in it's eyes, finished stuffing it and seamed up the back end ... And here's how it came out:
And, for sizing, here's it sitting next to 快適 千喜 (Kaiteki Chiki):
Now you must be wondering why I names my chiki: 分厚い チキ (Buatsui Chiki) ... In English, it means Chonky Chicken and as you can see, when compared to my 快適 千喜 (Kaiteki Chiki), its significantly larger (and heavier!) in every way than my "normal sized" chiki!😳😁🥰💕🐣🐥🐔
UP-DATE: 分厚い チキis a really, really warm chiki and will be a great comfort come fall/winter. However, in the summer heat, it's just a little too warm to use so, this is how it's been living:
