Kazoku no Kurisumatsuri

Well, it seemed that my little forest of trees was a hit with my family as everyone seemed smitten by it when I had showed off my forest over the last holiday season.  Since I was stressing out at work and needed easy and quick projects to make, I had offered my family their pick of three (3) trees from my top five (5) favorite trees.

My mother liked the Winter Fir the most (and actually stole my original Winter Fir Tree) so, I had to make another one for my mori:

And, because I wanted to see what a coloured bobble tree looked like, I made another (bigger!😉😁) tree for us too! 😉🙂🥰  I casted on 78 sts and did 3 extra bobble rows.  Initially, I was thinking about making each bobble a different colour but in the end, I was lazy and just made each bobble row a different colour:

I'm glad I did it this way ... it might've driven me crazy either snipping little pieces of yarn or weaving in a billion ends!😱😳🤦‍♀️

My mother-in-law couldn't pick three (3) trees that I originally offered to make the family and wanted nearly the exact same forest I had! 😳🤦‍♀️🤷‍♀️ And, at the time, since my sisters-in-laws didn't want to decide on which trees they wanted, I had time to make another forest set for her:

As I did want to make everyone a little something, here's what I ended up making for everyone else (Alayna, Nancy/the kids, & Esther): a Small Winter Fir tree:

And just to show you how cute their tree is, I even made one for myself too; here's what my new mori looks like:

I hope they all enjoy their trees this holiday season!❄️🎅🎄🎄🎄
