Today is Knit in Public Day 2020 and we're in the midst of a pandemic. There are theories that we're: (still) in the first wave of COVID-19, getting past the first wave, plateauing, or that it's temporarily over (until the second wave which is expecting to come this fall or winter). Whatever the case is, because of the pandemic, I have been 1) fortunate to be able to have a job in which I have been able to telework full-time and 2) have rarely left my home since all of this has begun (I only leave the house now to do essential grocery shopping where I really stock up on our necessities and food - this basically means, I really leave the house maybe every three (3) weeks or once a month at best).
So, this is where I have been knitting on Knit in Public Day today (and really (almost) everyday since the pandemic started):
Looking out my lanai, enjoying our beautiful weather and reveling being at home all the time!๐๐
While I know there are folks who are going a little stir crazy, I was born to stay at home (all the time)!๐๐๐ I've really enjoyed being at home, enjoying my home and basically (like millions of women out there) reveling in not needing to get dressed (living in t-shirts and tights!) and "putting on my face" everyday! ๐๐
Here's to more beautiful knitting days!๐๐
