Spoils from Japan 2019

This post comes very late since I've been busy getting up to speed at my new job.  Hubby and I had taken a much needed vacay to Japan this past February and while I tried really hard to not purchase any new yarn (I haven't used up all the yarn I've bought previously in Japan), it didn't quite happen for three (3) reasons: 

1) I needed some sock yarn to fix my make, make me happy socks,

2) I simply couldn't resist this skein of yarn and 

3) there we some accessories that I just had to have (after all, I also found a 

    Hamanaka store!)  

So, here are my spoils:

This skein just insisted that I try it!

And I found a darning mushroom!  Isn't it soooooo cute?! (And it's a two-for one!)

And this yarn will help me "fix" my make, make happy socks (as well as leave me enough to make another pair of socks for myself!)

Now, I just need to make time to make more socks (as well as to fix my old socks with my new darning mushroom)!
